Christmas Party 2024: A Wave of Joy at Monaldi with Battiti!
On December 21, 2024, the Cardiology Research Classrooms at Monaldi were transformed into a magical place, where dreams, smiles, and wishes came to life during the Christmas Party organized by the Battiti Association.
The event saw the enthusiastic participation of children, families, doctors, nurses, and friends of the association, all united by the desire to offer young patients a moment of genuine joy and shared experience.

The morning opened with a performance by Giovanni Napolitano and Santa’s Elves, ready to listen to the children’s wishes and collect their letters. At the same time, many activities entertained the young guests throughout the celebration: from magical face painting to the creative workshop “Let’s Build” with the Brickanti (using the famous LEGO® bricks), passing through the enchanting Fairy Tale Corner and the exciting Greever Express, an imaginary journey where children became the protagonists of an unforgettable Christmas adventure.
A special thank you goes to the partner associations that made this wonderful day possible, collaborating with enthusiasm and heart:
Greevers, Brickanti – Mattoncini al Sud, Voci Dentro, Spettacolandia.
Their contribution helped create a festive atmosphere, full of engaging activities and magical moments that lit up the faces of all participants.
At the end of the day, heartfelt thanks were expressed by Professor Maria Giovanna Russo, Head of Pediatric Cardiology and Department Director, Professor Guido Oppido, Head of the Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Unit, and Professor Berardo Sarubbi, Head of the GUCH Unit. Their words highlighted the importance of initiatives like this, capable of bringing comfort and serenity even in the most delicate moments.
The Christmas Party 2024 was the first official activity organized by the Battiti Association, recently established but already welcomed with great enthusiasm and participation. A beginning full of energy and human warmth, offering great promise for the future and for all the initiatives to come.
“With hearts full of gratitude, we look ahead, ready to continue our journey alongside young patients and their families.”
